MORPHEUS8 COOL
The Next Era of Morpheus8 Is Here — and We’re the First in Massachusetts to Bring It to You.
Why choose between comfort and results when you can have both?
Meet Morpheus8 Cool, the newest evolution of the iconic Morpheus8 technology—designed to deliver the powerful skin tightening, collagen remodeling, and tissue contraction Morpheus8 is known for, now with a dramatically more comfortable treatment experience.
We’re incredibly excited to be the first practice in Massachusetts to offer Morpheus8 Cool.
This next-generation technology combines precision RF microneedling with an innovative 24-pin cooling tip featuring a larger surface area and active skin cooling throughout treatment. While radiofrequency energy works beneath the surface to remodel and contract tissue, the skin stays cooler and more comfortable above.
And because Morpheus8 Cool is fully customizable, we can tailor treatment to exactly what your skin needs—from more superficial collagen stimulation, tightening, texture refinement, pores, and fine lines to deeper tissue remodeling and targeted reduction of unwanted fat on the face and body.
The result? Powerful treatment without the treatment experience you may associate with traditional RF microneedling.
Less discomfort. Minimal downtime. Fully customized treatment. The same serious Morpheus8 results—just reimagined.
This is Morpheus8, upgraded. Welcome to Morpheus8 Cool.
Look as incredible as you feel.

Morpheus8 Cool is a customizable radiofrequency microneedling treatment designed to tighten skin, improve texture, stimulate collagen, and remodel tissue on both the face and body.
Depending on how we customize your treatment, Morpheus8 Cool can help improve:
Skin laxity and crepey skin
Fine lines and wrinkles
Uneven texture and enlarged pores
Acne scarring
Jawline and neck definition
Loose skin on the face and body
Overall skin firmness and quality
Localized areas of unwanted fat, including beneath the chin and selected areas of the body
More superficial treatment focuses primarily on skin tightening, collagen stimulation, and texture, while deeper treatment can reach subdermal tissue to address laxity and strategically reduce unwanted fullness.
Because the depth, energy, and treatment area can all be adjusted, we can tailor Morpheus8 Cool to your anatomy and goals rather than using the same treatment on everyone.
-
Morpheus8 Cool combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to remodel tissue at precisely controlled depths beneath the skin.
During treatment, ultra-fine needles create controlled microchannels while delivering RF energy directly into the targeted tissue. This controlled heat stimulates collagen and elastin production, contracts existing collagen fibers, and triggers a gradual remodeling response that helps skin become firmer, smoother, and more refined over time.
Because the depth and energy can be customized, we can tailor treatment to your anatomy, skin quality, and goals. More superficial treatment focuses on skin tightening, collagen stimulation, texture, pores, and fine lines, while deeper treatment can reach subdermal tissue to address laxity and strategically reduce areas of unwanted fat on the face or body.
-
Morpheus8 Cool takes traditional RF microneedling a step further with its advanced 24-pin Cooling Tip and Cool Comfort Technology.
The larger treatment tip actively cools the surface of the skin while RF energy is delivered into the tissue below. This helps keep the skin’s surface more comfortable during treatment while still allowing us to deliver effective energy where it matters most.
In other words, the energy works deeper in the tissue while the surface stays cooler and more comfortable.
One of our providers will customize your treatment depth and intensity based on the area being treated, your anatomy, and your goals—allowing us to tighten, smooth, remodel, or target unwanted fullness as part of a personalized treatment plan.
-
Morpheus8 Cool can be used to reduce unwanted fat on the face and body, but fat reduction is not the goal of every treatment.
One of the biggest advantages of Morpheus8 Cool is that treatment depth can be customized based on the area and desired result. Deeper treatment can target subcutaneous tissue and help reduce localized pockets of unwanted fat, such as beneath the chin, along the jawline, or in selected areas of the body.
When treated at more superficial depths, Morpheus8 Cool focuses primarily on skin tightening, collagen stimulation, improved texture, fine lines, pores, and overall skin quality without intentionally targeting deeper fat.
At The Lip Loft, treatment depth and intensity are customized to your anatomy and goals so we can preserve volume where you want it and target unwanted fullness where you don’t.
-
Most patients find Morpheus8 Cool surprisingly comfortable, especially with our pre-treatment comfort protocol.
We use topical numbing before treatment, while Morpheus8 Cool’s integrated cooling technology continuously helps manage heat and improve comfort during the procedure.
For patients who would like additional support, we may also offer a prescription, non-opioid and non-sedating pain-management option when medically appropriate. Unlike traditional sedating pain medications, this option typically does not require you to arrange a driver, allowing most patients to come to and from their appointment independently.
Because prescription medications aren’t appropriate for everyone, please contact our office before your appointment. One of our providers will complete a brief medical screening, review your medications and health history, and determine the best comfort plan for you.
Most patients describe Morpheus8 Cool as pressure, warmth, tapping, or an occasional brief pinch rather than significant pain, although sensitivity varies by treatment area and intensity.

Before Your Appointment
Unless otherwise directed by your provider:
Avoid direct or prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, spray tans, and self-tanning products. Treatment should not be performed on sunburned, irritated, or significantly tanned skin.
Avoid waxing, sugaring, threading, depilatory creams, dermaplaning, or other treatments that may irritate the treatment area for approximately one week beforehand.
Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, laser treatments, resurfacing procedures, RF treatments, and other energy-based treatments in the treatment area unless specifically cleared by your provider.
Discontinue irritating or active skincare products approximately 5–7 days before treatment, including retinol/retinoids, tretinoin, adapalene, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, AHAs/BHAs, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other resurfacing products. Avoid non-essential medications and supplements that may increase bruising or bleeding, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil, vitamin E, turmeric, ginkgo, and similar products, if medically appropriate. Do not discontinue any prescribed medication or blood thinner without approval from the healthcare professional who prescribed it.
Avoid excessive alcohol in the days immediately preceding treatment, as it may increase bruising and dehydration.
Avoid smoking or vaping when possible, as nicotine may negatively affect circulation and healing.

-
Morpheus8 Cool is designed to improve skin firmness, texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scarring, and overall skin quality while stimulating new collagen and elastin production.
Patients may notice some improvement in skin texture and tightness within the first few weeks, with results continuing to develop over the following 3–6 months as collagen remodeling occurs.
Depending on the treatment depth and area, Morpheus8 Cool can also help improve skin laxity along the jawline and neck, crepey skin, and localized areas of unwanted fat.
For most patients, the best results are achieved with a series of treatments, followed by maintenance treatments as recommended by your provider.
Results vary based on age, skin quality, treatment area, lifestyle, and individual response to treatment.
-
Morpheus8 Cool is designed to deliver significant skin remodeling with relatively minimal downtime. Many patients return to their normal activities the following day and may look as though they had little or nothing done.
Immediately following treatment, the skin may feel warm, tight, mildly swollen, sensitive, or slightly sunburned. Mild redness, pinpoint marks, dryness, or a temporary rough texture may develop over the following few days depending on the treatment area, depth, and intensity.
For the first 24–48 hours, we recommend avoiding hot showers directly on the treated area, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, strenuous exercise, excessive sweating, and direct sun exposure. Use lukewarm water and gentle skincare, and avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other active products until your skin has fully settled.
Makeup should be avoided for at least the first 24 hours or as directed by your provider.
Most patients experience only mild, temporary changes, but downtime can vary based on the intensity of treatment and whether Morpheus8 Cool is combined with another treatment. Your provider will review your individualized aftercare protocol before you leave.
